Granville Schmidt is the Chief Architect at Strata Identity, where he leads the technical and strategic direction of the company’s products, focusing on delivering scalable, secure, and innovative software solutions.
Before joining Strata Identity, Granville served as an architect within the Office of the CTO at F5, concentrating on innovation, standards, and open-source initiatives. He was also the Information Security Officer and a founding engineer at PriorAuthNow (now Rhyme), where he played a pivotal role in developing the software platform and overseeing all security and compliance aspects.
Granville has held the position of Chair of the JavaScript Security Task Group (TC39-TG3) and possesses multiple security and privacy certifications, including Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), HealthCare Information Security and Privacy Practitioner (HCISPP), and Certified Information Privacy Technologist (CIPT).
In his current role, Granville is dedicated to advancing Strata’s Maverics Identity Orchestration Platform, aiming to provide seamless solutions for enterprises navigating complex cloud migrations and identity provider integrations.
